For our client, an international bank, in Prishtina, Kosovo we are looking for:

 

BUDGET & FINANCIAL CONTROL OFFICER - KOSOVO

 

KEY COMPETENCIES AND RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Performs daily operations of the Budget/ Financial Control Officer function;
  • Assist on budget / business plan preparation and revision process;
  • Assist on preparing, monitoring and analysing monthly operating results against budget;
  • Assist on the preparation of the official annual report, financial outlooks and forecasts;
  • Performs control of reports due as per Central Bank reporting requirements;
  • Assist on performing detailed analysis/control of financial reports and statements;
  • Ensure compliance with Group control procedures;
  • Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards;
  • Other duties as required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including IFRS. Acquaintance with automated financial and accounting reporting systems;
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP etc.) and MS PowerPoint. Knowledge of more advanced functions would be an advantage;
  • Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections;
  • Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting, and product-line profitability analysis;
  • University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics or other related field;
  • Successful completion of SCAAK or related accounting qualification is preferred;
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in a budget & financial control, accounting and/or reporting position;
  • Working knowledge of English is required.
