HR MANAGER - MALAYSIA

For our client, an international manufacturer company in supply gasses industry with Head Offices in Senai ( Johor state, southern Malaysian, just across Singapore) we are looking for:

RESPONSABILITIES:

  • You will be a central figure in our team and will be reporting to CEO directly while working with a growing workforce both office based and remote employees.
  • You will be responsible for recruiting talents into the business, managing the full candidate journey, liaising closely with Hiring Managers and Key Stakeholders in order to provide an effective and efficient in house recruitment service. You will assist in driving recruitment forward to fill vacancies quickly and efficiently.
  • We continually look for ways to develop and improve our HR support and delivery. This is an exciting generalist role which allows you to challenge, change and make a difference in a growing company.
  • You will pro-actively seek future talent for our growing business and manage our talent bank of candidates, having the ability to recommend ‘shining stars’ and sourcing top talent – those that would really make a difference to our business.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Providing advice to management and employees;
  • Creating job descriptions for current vacancies and liaising closely with hiring managers for specific essential requirements;
  • Building and maintaining excellent relationships with local schools/colleges/universities;
  • Providing daily support and actively engaging with all departments and hiring managers;
  • Managing and attending disciplinary, grievance, absence management and dismissal meetings in line with company policy;
  • Providing HR reports to the Senior Management Team with detailed analysis;
  • Generate innovative ideas and seek to continuously improve all HR processes;
  • Using social media and all networking opportunities to advertise;
  • Leading various HR projects;
  • Creating and sending weekly/monthly reports;
  • Screening CVs daily, matching skill sets to the relevant job vacancy, telephone interviewing, obtaining references;
  • Sending out regret letters/emails to those unsuccessful;

 


DESIRED PROFILE:

  • 2 years working experience in the field
  • Proven track record within a Human Resources Department is essential
  • MBA with a major in HR (desirable)
  • Ideally have a background in Recruitment either in house or agency working in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Demonstrable effective communications at all levels
  • Good level of understanding of MS Office package
  • Fluent in English

 

REMUNERATION/ SALARY:

  • Starting net salary: 1,250.00 EUR plus some annual bonus package applicable and negotiable
  • Housing allowance provided by the company: 350.00 EUR per month
  • Company car, mobile phone, computer and all other assets necessary for normal job performance
  • 2 flight ticket p.a. for home trips, 30 days annual leave
